Suffering from racism, stereotypes, ignorance, and devastated by historical government interventions, Indigenous people in Canada deal with serious challenges regarding mental illness and inadequate health care services.  We are resolved to supporting mental wellness in the First Nations community through culturally sensitive initiatives that acknowledge and respect Indigenous perspectives on mental health.  Through these efforts, we aim to empower individuals, families, and communities to prioritize their mental wellness and thrive.
